Provision of documents via the Inter-Library Loan service is regulated by the UK Copyright, Designs and Patents Act of 1988 and in accordance with subsequent amendments to the legislation.

All materials are provided for personal use only and must not be duplicated or distributed to any other people.

When submitting an Inter-Library Loan request you are required to agree to the terms and conditions as specified in the copyright declaration below.

Please supply me with a copy of the item specified required by me for the purposes of research for a non-commercial purpose or private study for a non-commercial purpose.

I declare that:

1. I will not use the item except for research for a non-commercial purpose or private study and will not supply the item to any other person; and
2. I will abide by Copyright Licensing Agency terms with regards to photocopying, scanning and digital re-use under the terms of the Higher Education Licence.
3. I have not previously been supplied with a copy of the same material by you or any other librarian; and
4. to the best of my knowledge, no other person with whom I work or study has made or intends to make, at or about the same time as this request, a request for substantially the same purpose.

I understand that if this declaration is false in a material particular I shall be liable for infringement of copyright. I understand that to enable delivery my contact details may be passed to the supplying library.

If, at a later stage, you are discovered to have broken these rules, you as the individual will be held personally liable.
